Hi everyone! My name is Ciara! I recently moved to the Cleveland Area August 2025, originally growing up and living in Houston, Texas for my whole life. I recently graduated in May of 2025 with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Photography and Digital Media from the University of Houston. Throughout college I have studied how to be a contemporary artist and am now seeing how I can translate that experience over to the film industry.

In my free time I enjoy simply spending time around my friends and loved ones, baking, and anything creative such as painting, printmaking, embroidery, and writing. I've enjoyed creating characters, sets, and random plot lines since I was little and love to see creative ideas come to life. As a little girl I wanted to be a Screenwriter or Cinematographer, and while those dreams still exist, I am just excited to delve into the world of the film industry and explore whatever positions I can!

As someone who is not only new to film, but new to Cleveland as well, I wanted to intern at GCFC because of how they educate so many people on the film potential within the greater Cleveland area. As someone so new to the community I have so much to learn and GCFC has provided invaluable information for getting my foot in the door. Within my experience here I am looking forward to learning more about the process of film and the different roles within teams on set as well as getting the opportunity to meet people in the industry.
