GCFC brings film career and business resources directly to residents through free info sessions, building pathways into Northeast Ohio’s growing entertainment industry.

The Greater Cleveland Film Commission is committed to connecting local residents and small businesses to the opportunities created by Northeast Ohio’s film and media industry.

Through 90-minute, FREE Crew & Vendor Intro Workshops, we provide hands-on guidance for individuals and businesses interested in joining the region’s film workforce. These sessions cover career paths, business opportunities, and essential resources to get involved.

By coordinating with Cleveland City Council, Community Development Corporations, Ohio Means Jobs, and other community groups, we bring these programs directly to neighborhoods, expanding access and fostering interest at the grassroots level.

While based in Cleveland and Cuyahoga County, GCFC regularly engages neighboring communities to ensure that residents across the region have the knowledge and support to explore film-related careers. These sessions empower participants to take tangible steps toward jobs, training, and business opportunities in a thriving industry.
