Internships are one of the best ways to gain practical experience and build connections in film and media. Throughout the year, several internship opportunities are available at GCFC. Our goal is to not only expose interns to the local industry but to also provide a glimpse into how a nonprofit operates and day-to-day office life.

GCFC INTERNSHIPS & JOB SHADOWS

GCFC’s internship and one-day shadow program consists of office tasks including research, data entry, and pre-production work, like breaking down scripts or scouting (taking photos) for GCFC's Location Database. We regularly host high school and college students, as well as graduates, veterans, and anyone else looking to work close to the industry while they plan their next move.

Prospective GCFC interns and one-day job shadows should keep in mind:

• GCFC cannot guarantee any access to productions during the internship. 
• Our program is very competitive: after submitting an application, we strongly recommend sending a follow-up email expressing your interest to participate to GCFC Workforce Development Manager Maria Rouzzo.
• GCFC’s office is in the Leader Building across the street from the Cleveland Public Library. We can provide a one-day parking pass for our lot on Prospect Avenue East.
