1st Team Actors Studio has weekly classes that run on 8-week sessions. In addition to their weekly classes that include Auditioning, Scene Study, Improv Skills for the Actor, and Actors Arsenal they also have a monthly class where actors can gain valuable performance time and receive individualized support to help them attain their goals.
1st Team has incredibly talented guest teachers lined up to come in and teach weekend workshops, too! Their stellar line up includes John D’Aquino (Disney’s Corey in the House, Seinfeld, NCIS, Dexter) Sara Sevigny (Empire, South Side) Janet Ulrich Brooks (Fargo. Sense8, Divergent), Vince Pisani (Stranger Things, Office Christmas Party, Tag, Jumanji) and Jeffrey Grover (Dark Waters, I Feel Pretty, New Amsterdam).

There will be a heavy focus on script analysis and how to audition for the role. In every script you read, the writer has given you a road map with every word they’ve put on the page. Without the knowledge of how to truly dissect the script and interpret what the writer is asking for, you are going into an audition blind.
