Hey everyone! My name is Zeke and I am fairly new to the Cleveland area. I moved here last summer after graduating from DePaul University in Chicago. I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Media & Cinema Studies with a minor in Screenwriting. I grew up just outside Indianapolis and still drive back there any time there's a new movie showing in Imax 70mm. For the past three years I have worked as a Script Reader for the Austin Film Festival in Texas which I get to attend every fall. In my free time I am usually spending time with my two cats, working out, or watching reality TV.

Since moving to Cleveland I have taken advantage of the film programs that are offered here such as the weekend-long Tri-C PA workshop. I have also had the opportunity to work on films and music videos with friends. While I have held jobs outside of the film industry, filmmaking is the one thing I am truly passionate about. As a kid I annoyed all my friends by constantly crafting stories and insisting they act them out - those habits have continued today.

I took this opportunity at GCFC because the film commission has been a huge help in getting involved in the film industry as someone who moved here recently. I've found a lot of value in the resources they provide, as well as the learning opportunities and network events they offer. I hope to meet more filmmakers in Cleveland and become more involved in productions that film here. I have worked on projects and short films in the art department and I am looking to gain more experience in the A.D. department.
