CLEVELAND — David Huffman is new to the Cleveland Cinematheque, but he’s far from a rookie in the city’s film scene.
Huffman, who was hired by the Cleveland Institute of Art to serve as the Cinematheque’s director in May, has more than 30 years of experience in movie exhibition as a programmer, manager and marketing leader.
He worked for more than 20 years with Cleveland Cinemas, the local chain that operates the Cedar Lee Theatre in Cleveland Heights and — until the end of July — Cleveland’s Capitol Theatre.
