CLEVELAND, Ohio -- You’ve probably seen the beauty of Ohio in person, but have you experienced all of it and on a giant, six-story-high screen?

“Ohio: Wild at Heart,” a new documentary short film, will premiere at the Great Lakes Science Center’s Cleveland Clinic DOME Theater on Wednesday, July 1, and play there through the end of the month. Tickets, which include science center admission, range from $19.95 to $24.95 and can be purchased at greatscience.com.

The 45-minute film, which debuted locally at the Short. Sweet. Film Fest. in March, takes audiences on a journey through the state’s scenic parks and waterways. Produced specifically for IMAX and large-format theaters, the film uses aerial cinematography to showcase Ohio’s natural wonders, from the Hocking Hills to the Lake Erie shore, and everywhere in between. The documentary also follows Ohioans working to conserve wildlife, restore rivers and help native species recover, including bobcats and bald eagles.
