CLEVELAND, Ohio -- “Buddy” and “Carousel,” two feature films shot in Northeast Ohio this past summer, will have their world premieres at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, early next year.
Produced by Cleveland native Tyler Davidson, “Buddy” is a horror thriller starring Emmy winner Cristin Milioti (“The Penguin”), Topher Grace, Keegan-Michael Key, Michael Shannon and Patton Oswalt. The film centers on a brave girl (Delaney Quinn) and her friends who must escape a children’s television show, including an axe-wielding unicorn mascot.
Directed by Casper Kelly (“Too Many Cooks”), “Buddy” was filmed at TRG Multimedia’s studios in Brooklyn, Ohio, which the company says is the largest film production facility between Chicago and New York.
