From Public Square to Progressive Field, the city of Cleveland plays a big role with a variety of locations featured in the new "Superman" movie.

CLEVELAND — It's finally here!

After months of anticipation, the new "Superman" movie is flying into theaters nationwide -- and Cleveland is one of the stars of the film as the backdrop for Metropolis.

CLEVELAND LOCATIONS USED IN THE MOVIE

Last summer, director James Gunn and his crew -- including "Superman" himself (actor David Corenswet) -- arrived in Northeast Ohio to film a variety of scenes for the superhero flick.
