Mandel JCC Cleveland Jewish FilmFest
The Mandel Jewish Community Center will celebrate two decades of Jewish storytelling when the 20th annual Cleveland Jewish FilmFest returns from Oct. 8 through Oct. 18, featuring 39 films from 13 countries.
The festival will present documentaries, feature films, comedies and shorts exploring Jewish life, history, identity and experiences from around the world. Screenings will take place at venues throughout Greater Cleveland, including the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, Cedar Lee Theatre in Cleveland Heights, the Cinematheque at the Cleveland Institute of Art and the Mandel JCC in Beachwood.
Five films will also be available to stream, with viewers receiving a 48-hour viewing window once they begin watching.
For Jesse Rosen, president and CEO of the Mandel JCC, the festival’s 20th anniversary represents how the event has grown since its beginning.
