CANTON, Ohio (WJW) – A one-of-a-kind experience is coming to Northeast Ohio.

The cast of “The Blair Witch Project” will attend a movie screening and Q&A with fans at the Canton Palace Theatre.

“The Blair Witch Project” was a 1999 cultural phenomenon. The movie was promoted as “found footage” of three student filmmakers who disappear while investigating a local legend in the Maryland woods.

While not much was known about how the film was made at the time, there’s quite a story behind it.
