Romance and ambition collide in The Winning of Barbara Worth (1926), as a desert community’s dreams of prosperity meet the untamed power of the Colorado River. Vilma Bánky stars alongside Ronald Colman and a young Gary Cooper in his breakout role, with two very different men competing for Barbara’s affection. Acclaimed jazz pianist Jackie Warren supplies an original live score for this sweeping silent Western. Join us for the film and stay for a reception afterward! Admission is free; registration is encouraged.

By attending, you are supporting educational workshops and future silent film events with live accompaniment in and around Cleveland.
