Looking to strengthen your editing skills? Feeling overwhelmed by the tech side of auditioning? We’re hosting two 1.5-hour workshops this July designed to help actors feel more confident with self-tapes and editing.
Some main topics will include, but are not limited to:
• Basic self-tape guidelines
• How to edit your self tapes
• Cropping and framing
• Editing out the beginning and end of tapes
• Adjusting background noise
• Simple ways to create cleaner, more professional auditions
Whether you’re brand new to editing or just want a smoother workflow, these sessions are here to make the audition process feel less stressful and more approachable!
Actors Access Workshop:
Looking to strengthen your use of actor resource sites? We’ll also be hosting a 1.5-hour workshop this July focused on Actors Access and IMDb basics for actors
Topics will include, but are not limited to:
• Best practices for setting up your Actors Access account
• General overview on how to submit for breakdowns
• Understanding profiles, materials, and submissions
• IMDb basics and how actors can use the platform professionally
• General industry questions and guidance
This workshop will be less formal and more interactive — designed as a Q&A-style session where actors can ask questions, learn together, and gain a better understanding of the platforms they use most often.
