We’re thrilled to invite filmmakers from across Ohio, the Midwest, and beyond to submit their short films for our 2026 festival celebrating women who illuminate the world.

Member Benefit:
Women in Film & Television Ohio members receive FREE submissionsthrough the Regular Deadline. After that, members will continue to enjoy a discounted rate during Late Submission.

Starting July 3, filmmakers from around the world can submit their work to the She Creates Shorts Fest & Expo. If your film was written, produced, directed, shot, or co-directed by a woman, we want to see it.

This is more than a festival. It’s a celebration of bold storytelling, creative voices, and the women shaping the future of film.
