The Greater Cleveland Film Commission (GCFC) hosts an exclusive evening with Northeast Ohio-native David Lester, LEGENDARY Production Manager and Producer of Star Wars: A New Hope, Star Trek: The Motion Picture, TRON, The Black Stallion, Bull Durham, Broadcast News, The Shawshank Redemption,  Air Force One, and more!

Lester shares behind-the-scenes stories and reflects on his work across multiple areas of filmmaking, from the pioneering visual effects innovations of Star Wars: A New Hope to the beloved, multiple Academy Award-nominated The Shawshank Redemption. 

ABOUT DAVID LESTER

David is a Northeast Ohio-native and a LEGEND in the film industry. A graduate of Northwestern University and the University of Southern California, Lester is known for his work as a Production Manager, Producer, and Second Unit Director.
