Welcome to the Greater Cleveland Film Commission. The Greater Cleveland Film Commission is designed to help facilitate the ongoing promotion and production of film, television and other related media within North East Ohio. Established in 1998, our film commission has helped the local community serve as host to such feature films as The Soloist (DreamWorks S.KG., 2009), Spider Man 3 (Sony, 2007), Against the Ropes (Cort/Madden Productions, 2004), American Splendor (Good Machine, 2003), Welcome to Collinwood (Warner Bros. Pictures, 2002), and Antwone Fisher (Fox Searchlight Pictures, 2002). North East Ohio is the ideal location to film your production. Cleveland is centrally located between Chicago, Pittsburgh and New York on the coast of Lake Erie, and along the Cuyahoga River. We celebrate four beautiful seasons and we offer a unique variety of locations, including period designed city architecture and a wide array of scenic neighborhoods ranging from the beautiful Edgewater mansions to Amish Country. The Greater Cleveland Film Commission will ensure that your production has a fantastic filming experience in our region. In addition to providing fee-free use of our 375,000 sq. foot Convention Center, and flying in key-decision makers for pre-scouting and planning, we offer helpful and friendly cooperation from the City, County and State Government, and highly skilled local crew and vendors. Whether you need a busy city street closed on a work-day, or help with making hotel accommodations for your cast and crew, our Film Commission is staffed with seasoned Los Angeles film veterans that know what is expected. Let the Greater Cleveland Film Commission help to provide you with the best quality film production experience available! Couldn't read our latest newsletter?
