WIFTOH Writing for Television Workshop

Women in Film & Television Ohio will host a “Writing for Television” workshop on Saturday, April 13th.

Crafting A Compelling TV Series: From Concept to Market” is an immersive workshop designed for aspiring TV writers and creators looking to break into the competitive television industry. It covers three crucial subjects:

  1. Show Development focuses on the essential elements of developing a captivating TV series, starting from generating unique and marketable concepts to fleshing out compelling characters and intricate plotlines.
  2. Writing the Pilot delves into the art and craft of writing a compelling pilot episode, the critical entry point that hooks viewers and entices networks and streaming platforms.
  3. Marketing Materials provides participants with comprehensive insights and practical tools to create effective marketing materials to pitch and sell their TV series to industry professionals.
