The 6th annual Highland Square Film Festival will take place May 13th with a pre-festival scheduled for May 12th.
Highland Square Neighborhood Association (Porchrokr!) is excited about this year’s Film Festival! The mission is to showcase filmmaking talent with a decidedly local flair. This year, they are maintaining our local focus, as well as broadening their scope to create another memorable film fest that brings the community to multiple locations and film festival events. This year will include full-length feature films including a Q&A with a lead actor, the premiere of Akron’s own 1915 silent short film, multiple screening locations, music, vendors, cash prizes, and a final musical performance.
