The Cleveland International Film Festival will celebrate its 47th festival on March 22 – April 1, 2023.

The Cleveland International Film Festival is among the longest-running and largest Film Festivals in the United States.

CIFF47 will take place at Playhouse Square in downtown Cleveland March 22 – April 1, 2023 and online as CIFF47 Streams April 2-9, 2023. Save the dates!

SUMMARY: Emily Nestor quickly shot to podcast notoriety with her independent true crime podcast Mile Marker 181, which investigated the death of local Appalachian woman Jaleayah Davis under suspicion of foul play. As the podcast detailed inquiries into possible murder suspects and corruption within the local police force, Nestor’s profile continued to rise within the ecosystem of true crime media and its devoted following. But when Nestor intentionally withholds information in her reporting to keep the podcast afloat, she gets caught in a cult of personality. CITIZEN SLEUTH follows Nestor’s rise and fall over several years, calling to question the ethics of the true crime genre when rumor can destructively be treated as fact.

Duties include assisting with mailings, inventorying, and projects pre-Festival and during the Festival, ushering patrons into the theaters, monitoring the lobby and hallways, and assisting various staff teams during the Festival. You must be at least 18 years old to volunteer. Tickets to CIFF47 @ PSQ (March 22-April 1, 2023) in-person screenings and CIFF47 Streams (April 2-9, 2023) online screenings go on sale to current CIFF47 Members on Monday, March 6, 2023 @ 11:00 AM ET and to the general public on Friday, March 10, 2023 @ 11:00 AM ET.

CIFF47 Opening Night Film & Reception:

  • $80 per ticket for current CIFF members
  • $100 per ticket for non-members

CIFF47 @ PSQ (March 22-April 1, 2023) in-person tickets:

  • $16 per ticket for current CIFF members
  • $18 per ticket for non-members

CIFF47 Streams (April 2-9, 2023) streaming tickets:

  • $12 per ticket for current CIFF members
  • $14 per ticket for non-members

Group Rate:

Groups attending CIFF47 and purchasing 10 or more tickets to the same screening are eligible for the group rate of $1 off per ticket. Please contact the CIFF Box Office at 877.304.3456 during their hours of operation for more information or to place a group order. With the exception of the CIFF member discount, Group ticket orders are not eligible for additional discounts.

  • For groups attending regular in-person screenings during CIFF47 @ PSQ (March 22-April 1, 2023), tickets to the same screening are $15 per group ticket for current CIFF members and $17 per group ticket for non-members.
  • For groups streaming online screenings during CIFF47 Streams (April 2-9, 2023), tickets to the same screening are $11 per group ticket for current CIFF members and $13 per group ticket for non-members.
